Special Groups in Chat

Hi everyone,

When we instituted the forum chat box, by default it was enabled for all members.  After observing it in practice, we've noted that it is undermining the purpose of The Corner:

Restricted members are only allowed to post in The Corner board

By allowing Restricted members to post in chat, we have drifted away from the original purpose of The Corner as an isolated posting alternative to a traditional ban.  Thus, from this point forward Restricted members will not be able to reply to Chat.


Members on Post Moderation will still be able to post in Chat by default.  As with regular members, this may be removed on a case by case basis if they elect to use Chat inappropriately.
