Actually the picture was from 17 years earlier when we first met. But it is how I will always remember her. My friend set the picture into an East Texas sunset, from the same area we lived in and in the back ground played the "Cherokee Morning song" Which is what was played at her funeral

Although my hearing is long gone, the song is still hauntingly lovely to me.

This rendition by Walela is what was used as the Background of the picture.

I wondered if that was a wig - I was thinking, I know her hair is longish, but is it THAT long? Maybe it is...hmm...I need to start paying better attention in pictures...

Not usually. I have a few tricks, but typically, I just let it fade. It looked like this when I recolored:

my job includes unloading the acid tankers.

typically the tanker brings a full load of 4500 gallons of hydrochloric acid. not really strong, just 28%. i take the hose and climb up onto the tank, open the hatch, and stand on the hose to keep it from flopping loose. takes about thirty minutes to fill up the tank.

oh yes

i wear an acid respirator, a chemical apron and butyl rubber gloves. the stuff will eat skin away unless you rinse it off or neutralize it with an alkaline of some sort.

but i just stay up there and pay attention. i have to stick the tank as it fills to know when we're done. at night i can't see into it through the fumes, so i measure it every few minutes and stop it about two inches from the top.
