The Old Testament - Paul quotes the OT some 90 times.

Christian sources - "The gospel I preached to you ... "So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: ?Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ?To the unknown god.? What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us" - Acts 17.

Who validates and authenticates scripture for the Christian believer ?

Spoiler

The Holy Spirit is the 'Authenticator of Scripture':

[Jesus said,] ?When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you." - John 16.

?Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ?Know the Lord,? for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.? - Jeremiah 31.

Have these "days" come; when did the "new covenant" kick in and take effect ?

Spoiler

Jesus instituted the new covenant in the upper room on the night before he was crucified:

"And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ?This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.? And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, ?This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood." - Luke 22.

"For as by the one man's [Adam's] disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's [Jesus'] obedience the many will be made righteous." - Romans 5.

Explain both Jesus Christ's 'active' obedience and his 'passive' obedience ?

Spoiler

What is 'traducianism' ?

Spoiler

"In Christian theology, traducianism is a doctrine about the origin of the soul (or "spirit"), holding that this immaterial aspect is transmitted through natural generation along with the body, the material aspect of human beings. That is, an individual's soul is derived from the souls of the individual's parents. This implies that only the soul of Adam was created directly by God (with Eve's substance, material and immaterial, being taken from out of Adam)" - Wikipedia.

What are the distinctions between the 'external' and 'internal' call of God ?

Spoiler

"The one functions externally only by means of the Word, to which also the Holy Spirit does join Himself in His common operation, resulting in common illumination and historical faith.
