There's no real relationship between what a person believes and what their religion ostensibly teaches them to believe.

Leese, do you realize that you, me, and Wesley Snipes are all 47 years old?
Lets hope 48 is just a wee bit better fo some of us. ||think||

Leese, I'm glad that you're improving. That's wonderful. : )

I'm curious, does it seem that the way you think has changed since the stroke?  Are you more or less bothered by or interested in certain things?

hmmm..  it was a right brain stroke, so it affected my motor skills rather than my cognitive ones.I have noticed my emotions are closer to the surface and I'm more impatient, and impulsive than usual. Talking to other people with and their families, I understand that some do have more personality changes than I'm experiencing.         my husband has taken to calling me ' Turbo', locking my wheelchair brakes, and setting the bed alarm, because of my newdeficits in caution ATM..     I don't like waiting for other people to do something for me, so I try to do it or get to it myself. Not the safest thing if you're still 1/2 paralyzed i wouldHAVE TO ASK LelEIGHANN IF SHE notives ANY other personality changes I'm not aware of.As far as intrests,I've always been fascinated by the human brain and now a bunch of          Drs want to talk about mine, draw me pictures, and patiently answer my questions.I can't help but think how cool life would be if I had that kind of teaching for every thing I had an intrest in. I'd say I'm as inquisitive as I always have been, I like to know how everything works or at the very least try to find out. I'm still annoyingly childlike in this regard, and will ask anyone that might have an answer to whatever catches my eye.

I would like to see leese in her wheelchair sliding completely out of control down a moderately steep sloped road on black ice. All the doctors and thearpists yelling and running after leese who is yelling back "STFU" this is funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!   ||razz||

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Truer words were never spoken. My degree is in Marketing and I'll be graduating this Saturday.

EDIT: Since I feel like inflating my huge ego even more, I'm graduating with a 3.6 GPA and I'll be in the top 10% of my class. Go me!

Yeah, the clot is reasorbing right now, and they eill be doing a CT every week for the next few months, to keep an eye on it. Now they are watching for sezures. from what I remember of the Neuro                                                                                                               doc's talk; the there is still electrical activity in the damaged area and it can cause a seizure.      or I could get pegged by a bus when I leave here. Life is uncertain at best for everyone. No sense worrying bout it.||cool||
