We do not store your password. Instead, we store a "salted hash," which is a code that we compare to an encrypted code that your computer sends us to verify that you know what your password is. This means that the administrators of our site are not able to determine your password by looking at the database, since your password is never actually sent to our site. This also means that we can never verify your identity by asking for your password. If someone claiming to be a member of our staff ever asks for your password, it is a scam and should be reported to the administrators immediately.
In the event that our database were ever breached, a hacker would have access to your personal information listed above, as well as the contents of private messages, posts to private member groups, and other information not publicly available on the forum.
