Title: Some women love to be raped...!
Post by: Augusto on November 19, 2013, 04:03:59 PM
I've been thinking, and I'm sure there should be some truth to it. I mean, I would love to be raped by at least 5 girls (don't tell my wife); so, why girls doesn't think the same?

Spoiler
Because they don't need to be raped to get laid?
[close]

Well, I don't know... after a few drinks (I admit it), I came to the conclusion that some women might have the fantasy of being raped

Spoiler
Maybe...
[close]

So, if they're raped, they will rise charges anyways because they're women and nobody understand them.  ||tip hat||

Rape = no consent. Wanting five women to attack you sexually does not constitute rape, because you wanted it to happen. Even women who engage in rape fantasy sex are giving consent to their partner to ACT out  the fantasy. Actual rape is a sex act that a woman DOES NOT WANT performed on her. It is a violation of her body, and is substantially different than either of the scenarios you mentioned. Your definition of "rape" needs work.

...and... why do you think it is so traumatic for women to be raped?

Probably for the same reason it would be traumatic for you to be sodomized by a man.

Yes! I should have clarified that I assumed it would not be Augusto's preference to be forced into a sex act with another man.

Yeap but it's still different (man/man)... I don't know if most men understand why woman feel so bad about it. I have some problems understanding it.

You are not speaking for this man ... an American with two daughters and granddaughters ...

Is it is a cultural "thing" with you ... or

Are you equating man/woman rape as a lesser thing (crime), the same or worse than bestiality

???

It's not different. It is an unwanted sexual violation of one's body by another individual. Gender is irrelevant.

Perhaps some men are happy to have sex with any woman under any circumstances, so they don't see why a woman wouldn't want to have sex with any man under any circumstances. The best way for you to get it, is to imagine being forced to have sex with someone you absolutely do not consent to have sex with. Perhaps any woman attacking you for sex would be welcome, but that would also not be rape, because you are consenting. But you being attacked by a man for sex would be unwanted, and would constitute rape. Aside from individual and societal factors regarding how one might feel about that - you would feel pretty much the same as when women are raped by anyone, ever. We want to be raped by men about as much as you do.
Title: Re: Some women love to be raped...!
Post by: Augusto on November 19, 2013, 09:50:13 PM
No... I'm saying that a single girl without children or boyfriend who does like men, that gets rapped is not like someone (male or female but heterosexual) who gets rapped by someone of same sex gender. There is a previous inner response of sexual rejection towards the gender of the rapist.

Since I cannot imagine a nice woman (not all rapists are ugly) who tries to force me into having sex as a painful experience, I admit I have some problems at understanding the tremendous shows of traumatic pain that I've seen on Discovery Channel or movies from raped women. It is even a normal thing that they don't want to be touched by ANY man and that they don't want men to talk to them, so it's obviously a big thing, I'm not denying it... just trying to understand it better because traumatized victims:
- Are not always virgins.
- Are not usually lesbians.
- Are not always on a relationship.
- Are not always beated (heavy violence).
- Are not always super religious girls.

So, what makes it so horrible for them?

Edit: Your reply is pretty good Urs, I can imagine that and it feels horrible... but here is what I wrote before reading your post, just in case you want to add something else.

Imagine that the woman is f**king your ass with a 12-inch strap-on. Against your will. While holding a gun to your head.

Got it now, Augusto?

Consider the elements of a rape:

Assault ...
Kidnapping ...
Forced ...
Penetration ...
Stress and fear of disease ...

Not exactly the same as what is euphemistically coined a "roll in the hay"

???

So it's more a trauma because you feel phisically disabled and your will becomes absolutely irrelevant. I think I got it, it's not about sex but about someone else phisically imposing that your worth and rights are something like zero.

Sorry if this was too obvious for the majority, I've had years wondering and this little exchange helped me to organize my ideas. Thanks!

You've got a lot of it. Forcible rapes are not about sex -they are about power and domination.

This is exactly it. Consent is the key word in rape, and someone raping you takes away your right to make your own decisions about what to do with your body; someone is using you as a mere means to an end.

Dude, your bodily integrity is the most basic, personal part of yourself.  If someone can arbitrarily deprive you of that against your will, they can deprive you of anything.  You are not even save in your own skin.

It's not a matter of whether you would theoretically enjoy the sex were it consensual.  It's a matter of one person violating the most private, personal, basic integrity of another for their own gain.  How can the victim ever feel safe again?

I am extremely supportive of the charity RAINN (http://www.rainn.org/).

Rape is no joking matter.

http://youtu.be/x71gxhWgLWs (http://youtu.be/x71gxhWgLWs)

Christina Ricci for RAINN (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9lzROPpuz8#)

Getting laid and sexual role playing games involving "rape situations" is one thing, the actually act of rape is a completely different story. It's a lose of freedom and defense.

Not a joking matter.

Urs/Mooby: So, probably a rapist should be pretty close (psychologically) to a murderer, or even a serial killer. Right? Or I am mixing oranges and grapes?

Emily: Sorry if any of my post offended you. I Totally agree it's not a joking matter, it's just that we (humans) make jokes of everything... right? Eitherway, I apologize.

Rainn sounds like a nice organization.

Personally, I think rapists should receive the same punishment as murderers. In a way rape is murder. It's murder of integrity and freedom.

Rapists and Serial Killers are both on 'power trips' ... however, serial killers usually choose women as victims because they are 'easier' to overpower and kill ... and prostitutes are most often chosen because of their 'willingness' to get into vehicles and otherwise lured away from the 'eyes' of the world's ...

I don't think you'd like to be raped.  It won't be nice for you

Think a man twice your size with a knife on your throat forcing you so that you bleed and you are given stitches for a memory... Maybe a facial scar so that you remember when looking in the mirror

What you were going on about in your original post is play not rape.

The above is only to offer you an example of what medium rape might be like.... Of course it may be harsher.  I hope you never get raped.  Be safe.

And FYI, I would say that is basically the same about a man being raped by another man.

Think Prison rape.  They do it mostly for the power and control over another person, not for sexual gratification.  It is about degrading the person being raped.

I was sodomised by a man when I was 26.
What really surprised me (so I can understand your questions Augusto:) ) was how badly it affected me.
I contemplated suicide it was so bad. Anger, pain...the inability to focus and work. It's a strange feeling, very bad.
Anyhow, I'm fine now and have no hang ups about sex or gay sex or what not so don't get heavy. Just trying to help spread understanding :)

It might not be as off-topic as you think.  Early abuse can really shape our outlooks, especially on sex.  And if for example you were able to overcome this abuse easily, or it had little effect on you, then you might be less reluctant to sympathize or understand why abuse may effect other so greatly.

Drugs? I think this turned a little bit ridiculous. Sort of like an Oprah show or whatever. If I killed a man and I was in prison and went out after paying my debt, I don't want to be known as "The Killer"... not because I want to kill other people but because it's not nice. I said what I said because of Pastafarian, nothing else, and while he seems to need/enjoy attention, I certainly feel like a cancer patient without cancer, surrounded by people showing pitty.

No link ... The account became known to me from the book, The Devil In White City by Erik Larsen ... I long ago passed my copy on ... so I can't give you chapter and page ... but

Remember Holmes or Mudgett was only credited with the music; not the lyrics ... and

Interestingly the Hill sisters date Happy Birthday to 1893 ... that was the year of the Chicago World's Fair ... where the Hill sisters were honored for their work in education ... while nearby Holmes was running his World's Fair [Death Trap] Hotel in Chicago

Man, could you support your assertion with a link or something? I can't seem to find a corroboration to your version. The only thing I find is that "Happy Birthday" was originally published as "Good Morning To All" in a book called "Song Stories for the Kindergarten" written by Mildred and Patty Hill.

Erm.. That wasn't me who said the above.

You are right, one shouldn't be blamed for wrong doing if they have been punished and they are truly remorseful then that should be the end

I think you should be kinder to yourself.  If something bad happened to you, it doesn't make you a bad person. And so what? People like to show kindness and concern, they have a right to express remorse for you.  It's not pity.  It would be a horrible world if someone shared something that happened to them and people didn't care.

The fact that you showed kindness to Pasta, to stand by him when you felt the he could use some support.  You weren't pitying him.  That's support.  If you are allowed to show support, so is everyone else. Other posters are doing the same as you did.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It was an 8 year long and painful journey of jail cells and rehab clinics, all because some "man" did the most unmanly thing anyone can do, but I came out at the end. Which is why I support charities like RAINN (http://www.rainn.org/)

As for E-Cigs, I just cannot get used to them. I tried some, the Blu (which sucks) and real E-Cigs. I have juice that tastes like Skittles and Doctor Pepper! IDK. I just cannot get used to them. Mine cost me 45 dollars. It's nice and all. It lights up and I take a drag.

Those are some awesome flavours! We get mint,  Marlboro, Vanilla and plain :(

But for me they perpetuated the idea that I was a smoker, which i found very dangerous. A real cigarette was always so near... Whereas now I hate smoking and the idea if smoking, thanks largely to that book.

But whatever works!
Title: Re: Some women love to be raped...!
Post by: Jay on November 25, 2013, 01:44:26 AM
That is possibly one of the reasons I do not vape out of something that looks like a cigarette. The ones I am using now, no one could confuse with a cigarette.  The main reason though, is the better battery power out of the larger systems.

As far as flavors go, right now I have 4 that I rotate thru during the day.  2 are store bought and 2 I make myself.  I will eventually be off the store bought juice altogether though.

The store bought ones are, 1 is kinda a hazelnut\caramel with a hint of hickory and menthol.  The other is basically a nutty overtone with a sweet undertone.

The two I make myself are, 1 is a caramel cappuccino with a shot of espresso(I call it a caramel macchiato) and the other is banana nut bread.  I am working on a few other flavors now.  It is easy to make, but the hard part is getting it to taste just right. It is like cooking, more art than science.

Oh, yes, everyone is different.  I am glad to hear you quit.  But I dont consider myself a smoker when I vape(heck, I dont even consider myself an ex-smoker anymore...I simple consider myself a non smoker).

Last night, I was at a charity concert.  "No smoking" signs were everywhere except one little area tucked away by the porta potties.  Instead, I was hanging out 10 feet from the stage vaping away.  I wasnt obnoxious about it or anything, but no one said anything...probably mostly because they dont stink bad.  They smell good.  I have had people come up to me and tell me that my caramel macciato smelled delightful, like desert.

It's totally cool Jay, but I must ask: did you read the book Pastafarian is talking about? I'm reading it and it is really something impressive. So far is working, and it promises:
- You will quit smoking forever.
- You will not suffer, the process will be enjoyable.
- No will power is required.
- All you need to do is finish the book.

It's pretty interesting because if it really works, it will save you some money and time, even if the electric cigarrets are totally healthy. Pastafarian has a digital version, he sent it to me, you should have it on your computer, at least to read it and recommend it to any of your smoking friends or whatever, if you find it compelling.

Not that your success is not remarkable... IT IS, I'm just saying you "could" combine methods, specially because the author ask you not to stop smoking while you read it and not to smoke if you're not smoking (just don't change anything is what he ask, until you finish it).

Jay, my favorite part of vaping was "smoking" on the plane to Australia. Yeeehaa!

Glad you're reading that book Augusto. A friend of mine just posted on Facebook that he's been clean for 2 weeks after reading it and watching the videos from the iphone app you can get (didn't know about that one).
He's tried many methods. Including hypnosis and Zyban.

that is surprising.  As I know many.  But maybe all they have in South Africa are the cig-a-likes.  I never would have been able to walk away from cigarettes completely with those.  Gas station disposables and ones created by big tobacco to try to keep their customers.  bah.  Even Blu is owned by lorillard who makes Newport among some other brands.  They dont create those to be the best or to help people quit smoking, they create those to try to keep their customers.  Either by them not switching to e-cigs completely or by still having their customers fork over alot of money per day to use them.  Heck, I would have been spending just as much per day using a blu full time than I was smoking.  lol   Now that is just retarded when there are better and cheaper systems out there, but they dont have the money to buy a superbowl commercial like the Big Tobacco boys do.

But the word is getting out.  E-cigs are estimated to be a 2 billion dollar a year industry in just the US this year.  So they are becoming much more common place over here.  I understand Europe is another large market.  Heck, there are now 5 brick and mortar e cig stores that I know of(there maybe more) within a 30 mile radius of me.  All devoted solely to e-cigs, and they dont make their money selling cig-a-likes.

But yes, I am enthusiastic.  And I am happy for anyone that quits, whether with an e-cig or not, but I am sure gonna pimp the system that I know worked for me and many people I know and\or have met.

My wife and I both tried the Alan Carr book. Didn't work for either of us, alas. Vaping worked to a point for me (I halved my intake of regular cigarettes over a period of around seven or eight months), but it was the discovery that we were expecting (and the subsequent birth of our baby daughter) that has thus far proved to be the most effective antidote to smoking.

I can't say for sure - it was several years ago - but as I recall, one of the techniques employed in it was similar to self-hypnosis. Which I have been utterly unsuccessful at getting to work on me. My brain apparently doesn't take well to such attempts at overt reprogramming (or in this case, deprogramming). Strange, since I am (or at least, used to be, when I dabbled in such things) perfectly capable of hypnotising other people. Or maybe not so strange, since there's invariably a part of my brain that goes "aha! I know what's going on here!" and refuses to let my consciousness go into sleep mode.

Oh well, I don't know if such part is there... I'm not done with the first half of the book yet, but I thought it was all about giving you the understanding of how your mind was working in order to hook you up, and I've been using that information and that logic to identify the urging moments and tell myself: "I am being deceived, there's nothing for me in there" and its working just fine. No pangs or desperation so far.

The times you're telling yourself "I'm being deceived, there's nothing for me in there" are a part of the deprogramming process. :)

Don't get me wrong. It is in a number of ways a better way to quit smoking than some alternatives - if it works for you. I know one friend who was able to quit with it and she swears by it. (Indeed, she was terribly excited about it and urged all of her smoking friends, including us, to give it a go. She was rather deflated to discover we'd already tried it without success.) But, not all people's brains are alike, and one size does not fit all. I think it's worth giving the book your best shot, but it's not a dead cert, so I'd urge anyone not to be too disappointed if it doesn't work for them.

Post by: Augusto on November 25, 2013, 11:55:39 PM
Oh I see, if that's what you mean, I can understand why you couldn't leave it with the book, but that's exactly the same reason why I find it so compelling: to me, it is not selfhypnotism, it is understanding and cleaning up your mind from a wrong way to see things. I believe it to be true that I was brainwashed, and I believe in the power of reason to battle emotions.

So far, the book is full of reasons, and that's how and why I became an atheist, right in this forum, after understanding that if I was going to keep my faith, I would need to do it against logic.

Yes, I agree it is a "de-programing" process, but it's not hypnotism, so far I know.

You are totally ignorant regarding what rape is really about. Your version is consenting to having 5 women sexually attack you for pleasure.

Rape is not a choice. It is about power, control,  domination, and humiliation by forcing on a woman sexual acts with the sole purpose of demoralizing her humanity, soul, and womanhood.

You are obviously totally ignorant of this subject and what rape does to innocent women, men, and children.

I highly recommend you do some research on rape because what you posted is extremely ignorant and offensive.

I think she did, Pasta. She said:
QuoteIt is about power, control,  domination, and humiliation by forcing on a woman sexual acts with the sole purpose of demoralizing her humanity, soul, and womanhood.
I could quibble with the use of 'soul', but besides that, it seems a reasonably objective description of the psychological dynamics underlying rape.

QuoteThe OP was difficult for everyone to swallow with that thread title but Augusto moved beyond the OP as the thread went on.
In which case, it might have been appropriate for Augusto to acknowledge that in his reply to Butterfly. And he could have apologized for the ignorance and insensitivity displayed in his OP and for the obvious offense caused.

Augusto has told me to shut up on a few other threads. I just don't think he likes anyone,  perhaps especially a woman contradicting him.

By the way, I have a lot of experience working with rape survivors,  so my words are common sense and educational towards anyone who makes that kind of comment about women wanting to get raped.

We have a great deal of problems in society with the degradation of women and children and I think the ideologies of men about a womans sexual nature speaks volumes about the devolvement of our society.

My problem with Gnu have nothing to do with you. I apologize for being agressive to you, but you came up to two of my topics posting an opinion without offering arguments and without reading enough. So I took you for an idiot.

Once again, I'm sorry if that's not the case, but it happens that you missunderstood both threats and came up attacking me as the result of that.

This one topic, for instance, started as a joke. I am entitled to joke if I want to, about whatever, that's freedom. I do know of the subject because I was sexually abused when I was a child, that is posted in here, and I was interested in understanding the trauma experienced by women after a rape. Beyond the usual ridiculous attacks I'm used to get, the topic moved in a constructive way, and I was able to undestand some stuffs, a couple of members talked about private issues and we moved into nicotine adiction... that, until you came attacking me. I hope you understand.

... I just don't think he likes anyone...
I get why you'd type this but it isn't going to help. I'm not taking sides, just pointing out that as a bystander I see TWO people sniping at each other. That's what my previous post referred to. Yes, you defined rape in your post above, but is was to scorn, not discuss. Which I understand, but wouldn't it be better to discuss?

QuoteWe have a great deal of problems in society with the degradation of women and children and I think the ideologies of men about a womans sexual nature speaks volumes about the devolvement of our society.

I understand what you're saying. But it seems to me that you're conflating two separate issues.

I agree that society is damaging women and girls with unfair treatment, mysogany, stereotyping etc...

But this OP was more about a man's sexuality than women's. I can see how offensive it was. But it seems to me, a man, that it was a not-well-thought-out post about his own desires.
Men think differently to women about sex.
And rape is not something most men worry about happening to themselves.
That is not about society's development, IMO, but about the different ways the genders operate and how we assume the other is like us!

I imagine that most men have fantasized about being overpowered, seduced by 5 women. Rape is a misuse of the word which I think was about a language constraint and not understanding rape.

As a man, I get that. As a woman, your knee-jerk reaction is to judge it and rain hellfire on it. Again, I get that. But I don't see it as "speaking volumes about the development of society".
We are different.
More understanding, more education, more sensitivity from both genders and we'll be fine, I think.

I think, Augusto, that because of a) language constraints and b) something in your character and or brain that makes you very blunt, people are missing you a lot of the time. I know I am sometimes :p

You type out your raw thought, people react differently to what you thought they would, you backtrack with the "joke" idea. I understand that.

When you choose to type something that might offend others, maybe try to make people understand where you're coming from. That it is just an idea, that you don't mean to hurt.

*rest of this in a pm* :)

I just mean to be honest. It's not my fault what other people do and how they react.

Posting a thread title like this and then backtracking when it backfires is ridiculous. Get some self-awareness.

Dude, don't you have anything better than acting like a JudoChop? Go ride a Gnu and get the f**k out of my back. Are you an specialist of threat titles or something? If there is something I find ridiculous is your post. Get some life.

Pasta, I understand you bro, I really do; you just want to fit in, you see people bullying someone and you say: "Hey, perhaps I can get more friends if I join in", let me tell you this: you have a very low self steem, you need to find your own convictions instead of going from one side to the other searching for some security. Specially on the internet, you're not going to find what you need on the internet.

There is this group of sad people who virtually never post anyting worth reading, and they ocationally think they can have some fun by creating drama. I accept it because nothing is perfect, and I like IGI, but really... some of you are old dudes, aren't you ashamed of such behaviour?

LOL
I've been here since 2008, on and off.
I've seen some s**t. Made some friends, and enemies. But it's been awhile since someone so unaware of what he is doing has posted. DavidM comes to mind...but he's been banned for awhile now.

I was wrong in my assessment of you. Now I'm not sure where you're at. I stood up for what I thought was the truth. THAT was my motivation.

If I wanted all these people to be friends with me I would have gone with popular opinion and not tried to figure out what this new poster (you) was pulling by being so...unpleasant.
But you've said you were making jokes. Ok! Then I don't get you.

But brother, you don't get me, that's for sure.
I'm certainly not so insecure that I can't tell someone, politely, that they're talking s**t. Or that there is behavior they should take a long hard look at.
To wit, you ;)

EDIT: spelling.

You don?t need to be a specialist of thread titles, you just need to be able to read. Your thread title was ridiculous, hence why people are calling you out on it. Your brain told you to make out it was some kind of big joke when everything backfired, that was a bad move, therefore I question your intelligence.

Get the f**k out of your back? I think you need a reality check on how emotionally invested I am in you.

Pastafarian: Reply 98 was the last one on topic, now we are in reply 118. That's 20 posts of nonsense. We were discussing cigarrets. You're helping others to deviate the topic we were talking. Does it seem good to you? Why don't you create another topic and post all that cross your mind in there. Don't you think you're being disrespectful by talking about me? Who asked for your opinion on me?

When you start attacking someone, that person can answer, I did, you didn't like my response, then you went on denying everything... wouldn't it be better if you stop? I don't know why I have to explain things to old people like they were children.

JudoChop: I invest my time on intelectual discussions or subjects I find enjoyable, you have nothing to offer me, so... I'm not going to waste my time with you.

Okay... that's nice from you. Thanks!

I'm having some problems to keep reading the book. I think My subconscious is fighting against the idea of stop smoking.

Augusto, why are we talking about cigarettes? I thought you wanted to talk about how women love to be raped?

Is talking about cigarettes some kind of strategy to deflect away from your previous posts here?

IF you have anything to say about the older subject, go ahead funny boy. Just read first so you don't repeat questions and arguments already posted.

Double read, then read again, and think hard... not gonna work right? Your next post is going to be cheap trash drama attempt as usual. Right? Then I'm going to ignore you for good and you'll end up searching for someone else to provoque.

It's almost December you know? You could... "get a life" and enjoy hollydays?

I read the whole thread. It actually evolved from one poster talking about being raped to another in how she dealt with it, and then augusto discussed his own experience with child abuse. Somewhere inbetween it went from one posters dealing with drugs to trying to get off the smokes using the e-cigs. Topics tend to meander as people communicate. Not a big deal, I don't think Augusto was trying to disengage the topic, just how the conversation went. Since I don't smoke, I replied to the first post which was the original topic.

Pasta: you seem like a very cool dude and I commend you getting through that trauma. I too was molested/raped for years by my dad. That's probably why I try to help other women and why I reacted the way I did. I get rather upset when I still see the ignorance in society regarding sexual abuse and it always amazes me how little we've grown as a society in how we treat women and children. I say this because the statistics are going up for sex crimes, not down. That leads me to believe we are in a societal decline.

Thanks butterfly. I'm really glad we could get through that difficult first exchange or two unscathed. I'm here for discussion.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I was wondering if you or a friend had been touched by this from your reaction.

I'd love to hear more about those stats and maybe unpack them in another thread (is the upward trend linked to population going up? Etc...). I'm guessing it isn't getting worse, based on stuff I've read from sociologists but my gut says it IS getting worse. Media, maybe?

Great to meet you, here's to good exchanges in the future ||beerchug||

That said, butterfly44, one of the reasons why the stats may be going up rather than down for sex crimes is that more people feel confident enough to report them. Which would be a step in the right direction, because only reported crimes ever stand a chance of resulting in someone being brought to justice.

So it's not all doom and gloom, perhaps.

As it is, at the moment, we in the UK have little cause for confidence in the official figures anyway (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25002927).

Damn you are good! Always hit the nail on the head
