Our Father in Heaven...Almighty God...Our Father who sits on his heavenly throne and listens to our prayers...Our Creator...Our Sustainer...Our most wonderful God: the only God who answers prayers. Hallowed be your name, I Am That I Am: the most holy of names...Let your Kingdom come: let your rule begin on this Sabbath Day, July 14th, in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ, 2019...Your will be done here on Earth, Father: here on this marvelous planet home you have hung in space and sent whizzing through the Universe...

Thank you Father for the privilege of life: of breath and blood, thought and speech, sight and touch, of being able to come near to you, Father: and for a myriad of things beyond the reach of mere words. Thank you for this new day of life: thank you for a night's sleep and healing dreams...

Father, thank you for all the blessings and grace you shower on us, things that keep the flame of life brightly burning: of light and warmth; of air and water; of the table of food you set before us; of clothing we can use to take the Gospel to the farthest ends of the Earth; of a place to lay our heads (our Lord had no place to lay his head); of a door we can close and shut out the world and come to you in prayer and supplication...

Thank you for spiritual gifts: of wisdom and knowledge, of truth and your word, the Holy Bible. Thank you, Father, for the gift of the Holy Spirit indwelling in us...

Thank you, Father: for your Holiness and Sovereignty, your Majesty and Glory, your Eternalness and Beauty, your Justice and Goodness, your Love and Mercy. And thank you so much, Father for your amazing Grace...

Father, please this day: nourish us, strengthen us, heal us, provide our daily bread. Help us to arrange our thoughts, our words and our deeds so that these things bring praise and honor to You and to your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ...

Help us to walk in your Light, Father, so that we don't veer off of the path into the darkness of sin and transgression. Forgive us of our sins, Father, as we forgive those that sin against us; as we forgive and forgot their debts. Protect us, Father, from ourselves: don't let us fall into temptation; protect us from the Evil One. Help us, Father: with our want of impatience, with our quick tempers; with our want to tell a lie; with our want to take revenge; with our want to covet; with our want to make idols in our mind and to commit cosmic treason...

Teach us Father to become better servants: to learn how to better pray to you, to better worship you and to learn how to better serve you...

A prayer, Father, for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted for your name's sake: Pour our your Spirit and Grace on these, that they bring might honor to you and to your church and that they might be healed...

Father, all these things we ask in the precious name of your son, our Lord Jesus Christ: our King, our Lord, our Savior, our Redeemer...

In our Lord Jesus' name: Amen...Amen.
Jesus Christ died so you could have access to God.
