My Gramps had the first hydraulic D-9 in our neck of the woods Dexter. Now those were big, really big. Too bad he passed long before he could teach me anything. You see I jumped on one in Alaska( D-7) to grade the concrete batch plant I was running. I thought I'd just push a little dirt forward to level things. Omg! It took me the rest of the day to fix the mess, in between trucks. Oops.
