Hey Everyone,

While reviewing the TOS we found two clauses that were out of date.

The first states that you may give your password to administrators.  Since administrators and moderators can reset your password, there is no need for you to ever do this.  Also, we've added some security tips for shared mobile devices as they are increasingly used to access this site.

Old:
QuoteWith this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason.

New:
QuoteWith this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person or knowingly engage in account sharing (either letting someone use your account, or using someone else's account) for your protection and for validity reasons.  When logging in with a public or shared device, make sure that your username is correctly displayed in the upper left-hand corner.  Be sure to log out before letting others access the device to prevent accidental account access.

The second clause was changed to more accurately reflect how the new board database handles private messages:

Old:
QuoteIf you do send or receive private information via the forum PM system you can permanently remove it from the database by deleting the message from your inbox or outbox.

New:
Quotef you do send information via the forum PM system, please keep in mind that deleting the message from your inbox does not remove it from the database, and any members you sent the message to will still have access to it.  In extenuating circumstances that require a full deletion, contact an administrator.

Any questions?
