Your daughter dresses like me, except less colorful; my tights are tie dyed or neon or graffitied. Tell her she can cut off the feet and use the tights as sleeves under her short sleeved shirts, too.

I never did; I just cut off the top few inches of the waistband and then stretched what was left over my back, across my shoulder blades.

I sweat a lot, and used to work in a bar that was kept cool enough that I needed long sleeves, but then I'd get sweaty from wearing actual long sleeved shirts, and my armpits would be damp all night, and people don't wanna see your wet armpits when you're serving their drinks. So I started cutting up my tights and fishnets (which are warmer than you'd think) to wear under tank tops and t-shirts. They'd keep my arms covered, and I'd sweat less.
