"“Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time!" - George Carlin.

You omitted the end of his joke, after he says that he says "but he loves you"
They want you to believe you get tortured forever, but he loves you
If you dont want to believe in sin dont believe in the supernatural
If you read the Bible backwards everybody lives
First I told my imaginary friend about Jesus, then I told Jesus about my imaginary friend.
God is s comedian and you are his joke.

"I suppose that one reason I have always detested religion is its sly tendency to insinuate the idea that the universe is designed with 'you' in mind or, even worse, that there is a divine plan into which one fits whether one knows it or not. This kind of modesty is too arrogant for me.” - Christopher Hitchens.

"And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire." - Revelation 20.

Why were people thrown into "the lake of fire" ?
||think||

Because it says so in your fallible Story book founded upon MYTHS!

I'm agreeing with Sam Harris about truth!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty good guess that in settings where truth trumps diplomacy, Harris would tell you that revivified jesus is a mythological shapeshifting zombie.

"An atheist doesn’t have to be someone who thinks he has a proof that there can’t be a god. He only has to be someone who believes that the evidence on the God question is at a similar level to the evidence on the werewolf question." - John McCarthy (cognitive scientist).

Logic and biblical truth go hand-in-hand if one understands the Bible correctly

As far as ' leaving Atheism ' YOU have actually virtually ' joined it ', by recently admitting the biblical jebus isn't the son of a God, but rather the son of a Jewish wood-worker!

So a rousing ' welcome to Atheism ' from your Mentor & Saviour Vindicated Moi!

"There is no evidence that any of our books was authored by the Creator of the universe. The Bible, it seems certain, was the work of sand-strewn men and women who thought the earth was flat and for whom a wheelbarrow would have been a breathtaking example of emerging technology." - Sam Harris.

There is truth in fiction and there is fiction in truth. As a skeptic, how do you tell what's real and what is fantasy?

||think||

You falsely claim I spout drivel, but can't legitimately refute what I say, and then hypocritically admit you are a sceptic after all, & can't discern reality from fiction/fantasy even in your own propaganda!   ||busted||   ||laughroll||

I suggest you pay better attention to Moi! in future, instead of arrogantly shooting messengers of Truth such as me!

I have dug deeply, that's why I am so confident at successfully busting religions still!

Plagiarism is a forte of so called xtianity,  sure!

e.g. - Much of the mythology of Christianity is a rehash of an older and even more transparent fabrication – Judaism.

ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS

No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus

The 12 apostles, fabricated followers of a fabricated saviour -

Paul of Tarsus, an invented super Apostle.
