A quote from John Adams
« on: April 16, 2017, 09:35:37 PM »
"Be not intimidated by, nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency.  They, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocracy, chicanery and cowardice."

JohnAdams, a founding father and President of our nation, may not have had inmind the depth to which our language has sunk, but he warns us against our loss of personhood by succumbing to the prejudices of others.

How this effects conversation today is best demonstrated by an idea that free speech is hate speech.  Really!   Wow!!!

My dad reminded me that when you point the finger at someone, three are pointing back at you!
