Any transgression of these rules will result in moderator intervention of your posts and/or account.
1. No Plagiarism. If you post content that is not your own work then your post must acknowledge this. You are also encouraged to acknowledge the original author and provide a link to their work whenever possible.
2. "Work safe" content. This rule is obsolete. The posting of NSFW content on this forum is now described in our
Etiquette page.
3. No Trolls. Trolling is defined as posting, three times or more, in a way that is counter-productive to the positive exchange of ideas relating to a thread topic or its content. Each troll post (in the same thread) after the first three will be deemed an additional breach of this rule.
4. No Spam. On this Forum, spam is defined as the following:
a) The repetitive posting, three times or more, of a topic or content anywhere on this Forum.
b) The repetitive posting, three times or more, of links to personal blogs and similar anywhere on this Forum.
c) A post that advertises products unrelated to this Forum or its content.
d) A post that links to a website unrelated to this Forum or its content.
e) The "No s**t" Rule. Do not flood the boards with inane comments across multiple threads. Also, do not post comments solely to bump an inactive (no posts in the last 50 days) thread. If a member posts three or more such comments within a 24 hour period then the third and each subsequent post within the period will be deemed a breach of this Rule.
4a, 4b, 4e: each additional post after the first three will be deemed an additional breach of this Rule.
5. No Harassment. Harassment is the deliberate and repeated engaging of another member for reasons unrelated to any recently posted content.
6. No Insults. Do not use derogatory labels or terms to describe other members of this Forum. Posting “Your comment is dumb/stupid/idiotic/etc.” is allowed, but posting “You are dumb/stupid/idiotic/etc." is not. This rule principally covers name-calling, please see our

FAQ for further guidance.
7. No Threats. Threats are posted content that implies some direct form of harm to another member.
8. No Sock Puppets. Regular members are only allowed one account each. Any extra accounts will be banned.
9. Compliance With Moderators. You must modify your posts or profile settings within 24 hours of any such instruction from them.
10. Forum Boards. You must comply with each board's description.
11. Member Names. Your member name must conform to the forum rules.
12. Member Signatures. Your signature must conform to the forum rules. If you use an image in your signature, it must be no larger than 650 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall. Refer to our

13. Member Custom Titles. Your custom title must conform to the forum rules.
14. Member Avatars. Avatars must not exceed 100x100 pixels and must not include forum images or images of other members without their prior approval. Refer to our

15. No profanity. The use of swear words is not allowed in the following areas:
- Member Names
- Member Custom Titles
- Member Signatures
- Thread Titles
16. Member Privacy. Do not post any personal information about another member unless either the information has already been published by that member on
this Forum, or you have obtained the member's permission. Personal information includes (but is not limited to) the contents of Member Group threads and posts, emails, PMs, letters etc., real names, real addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, medical information, employment information, banking or financial details, family history and photographs.
