Shot with his favorite caliber. Lol.  ||guns||

The robbers should have used a broom instead.

^^^^  The "hero" of that little blurb is laying in the hospital in critical condition.

They don't say if he kept his wallet.

I'm pretty sure one of the robbers doesn't have it.

Sounds like your brand of Christianity eschews the Beatitudes in favor of Old Testament "eye for an eye" vengeance.

I feel like that story fits more of a " You reap what you sow" type incident.

I think " you sew what you rip" makes more sense there.

http://www.wvgazettemail.com/news-cops-and-courts/20161015/boone-homeowner-shoots-kills-man-breaking-into-outbuilding-police-say

Quote
The man and his wife, whose names have not been released, went to investigate. They encountered Jack “Anthony” Webb, 40, of Wharton, as he came out of the family’s outbuilding. Wharton, who police say was armed with a knife, was shot once and pronounced dead at the scene

Why shoot dead the whole town of Wharton for the one guy's indiscretion?  That's, like, Old Testament nasty.

Lol. Good catch. I can picture the scene at that house. "Quick honey go grab a knife to plant. Not my good one either."  ||grin||

Although I feel strongly that both open and concealed carry out in the public space is a surefire recipe for creating a never-ending, three-way arms race between cops, criminals and civilians, this thing at their own home sure sounds justified.  Just a month ago I went out in the middle of the night because of loud scratching sounds on the side of my house in the woods.  It was a raccoon up trying to claw its way through the roof peak vent screen, and I shot it.  If it turned out to have been a dope with a knife I guess I'd have done the same.
