I was just recently listening to a statistician talk about how things cluster more than we'd expect. Like, if you divide a group of people in half, and have one half flip some coins 100 times and write down what happens, and the other half imagine flipping coins (trying to be random) you can tell the ones who didn't actually flip the coin with 80% accuracy, because they are very unlikely to imagine streaks of 6 or 7 in a row, whereas these do in fact happen fairly frequently.

Do nonrandom thoughts on the subject of randomness fit into this thread?

I don't know myron but that sure is interesting. It's almost the oppisite of people who tell lies. They try so hard to put things together and that's how they get found out because if nothing they say is random then it's just random bull sh**...

JM can be 'rather' random in his contributions.  That was just a random thought grin

I like lip gloss, feels so slippy on my lips.. But on a windy day my hair gets tossled about which is nice but then it sticks on the lipgloss..
Hmmm not cool.

As a guy, I prefer the taste of lips to the taste of lip gloss anyway.  It would be a little bit easier to be a girl if you knew how beautiful you are just the way God made you, without the war paint, and much tastier for us guys!

I agree Dm, but tasting dry lips would be worse. So lip balm is an absolute must or clear lip gloss in a dire emergency on a cold windy day :)

Hey, careful.  I'm not D M, that's somebody else.  I'm David M.  So whoever Dm might be, I don't know.  smiley

On a cold windy day we could always go inside and see if we could soften those dry lips, couldn't we?  I think that might be tasty.  If stuck outside, we could rub noses.   hug
